► Do not carry out any heat treatment at a temperature above 300 °C
(570 °F).

Exposure of the product to unsuitable environmental conditions
Damage, brittleness or destruction due to improper handling
► Avoid storage in condensing ambient humidity.
► Avoid contact with abrasive substances (e.g. sand, dust).
► Do not expose the product to temperatures below -10 °C (14 °F) or
above +60 °C (140 °F) (e.g. sauna, excessive sunlight, drying on a
radiator).
5 Preparation for use
5.1 Assembly
Gluing in the system lamination joint bars
After adapting the connecting elements, the lamination joint bars must be
glued into the system connection plugs for reasons of stability:
1) Degrease the joining surfaces with 634A1 thinner or solvent.
2) Mix the 636W28 special adhesive and hardener.
3) Apply the mixture inside the system connection plugs.
4) Insert the lamination joint bars (9) into the upper joint section (4).
5) Fasten with 501T7=7.5x9xM5 oval head screws (8).
6) Allow to cure for at least 3-4 hours. INFORMATION: Final bonding
strength will be reached after 16 hours.
Mounting the foot stirrup
1) Insert the foot component with foot stirrup (10) into the upper joint sec
tion (4).
2) Lubricate the bearing nut (3) with 633F7 special lubricant and insert it.
3) Apply Loctite® 241 to the thread of the truss head screw (2) and screw it
into the bearing nut (3).
5.2 Adaptation
The system ankle joint is adapted to the needs of the patient through the
individual combination of the bearing ball (5), stop pins (6), and spring (7)
with the set screws (1).
