Attention!
Damage from incorrect installation sequence
The components can be damaged if fitted in the wrong order.
→ Heed correct installation sequence.
■ Insert new paint needle [8-6].
■ Screw the new hard metal ball tip [8-5] onto the paint needle using the
spanner (holding the end of the needle firmly with a screwdriver).
■ Push paint needle to the back.
■ Screw in the new pre-nozzle [8-4] using the SATA universal spanner.
■ Position the spring [8-7].
■ Screw the end screw [8-8] on with the SATA Combi-Tool.
Mount a new material nozzle
Notice!
Insert the pre-nozzle in the air cap for material nozzles with reversing
switch. Pay attention to the groove alignment with the fixing pin.
■ Insert material nozzle [8-3] in air cap [8-2]. Pay attention to the groove
alignment with the fixing pin.
■ Position the air cap ring, with contact protection [8-1], together with the
air cap and material nozzle, then screw on by hand.
10.2. Replace nozzle head
Remove nozzle head
■ Carry out the working steps „Dismantle material nozzle" and „Remove
the pre-nozzle, hard metal ball tip and paint needle" (see chapter 10.1).
■ Unscrew the nozzle head nut [9-1] using the SATA universal spanner.
■ Unscrew the screw [9-3] in the holding plate [9-2].
■ Remove the holding plate and remove the nozzle head [9-4].
■ Remove O-rings [9-5].
Fit new nozzle head
■ Clean the sealing and contact surfaces [9-6].
■ Insert new O-rings [9-5].
■ Insert new nozzle head [9-4] with the correct orientation and insert the
holding plate [9-2].
■ Screw the screw [9-3] into the holding plate.
■ Screw the nozzle head nut [9-1] on firmly using the SATA universal
spanner.
