When painting use only the quantity of material required for the work
step.
Maintain the necessary spray distance when painting. Store or dispose
of the material properly after painting.

■ Provide for spray air supply and material supply.
■ Release paint spray gun using lock [6-1] on trigger [6-2].
■ Pull trigger completely to start painting [7-1].
■ Operate paint spray gun as shown in [7-2].
Completing the painting operation
■ Lock paint spray gun using lock [6-1] on trigger [6-2].
■ After completion of the painting operation or if a longer pause in the
painting operation is planned, shut off spray air and material supply and
follow instructions on care and storage (see Chap. 11).
10. Maintenance and Repair
Danger!
Risk of injury from sudden component separation or escaping
material.
If the compressed air circuit and material supply are not disconnected
before performing maintenance work, components can detach and/or
material escape unexpectedly.
→ Always disconnect paint spray gun from compressed air circuit and
material supply before performing any maintenance work.
→ Depressurize the system.
The material transfer area of the paint spray gun and the material supply
and lines are under high pressure (up to 250 bar).
→ Configure hose lines and connection systems accordingly.
The chapter below describes maintenance and repair for the paint spray
gun. Only trained experts are permitted to perform maintenance and re-
pair work.
■ Before performing any maintenance or repair work, stop the com-
pressed air supply to the compressed air connection [1-8] and the
material supply to the material connection [1-10].
