6.2.3 Fitting foot mountings, piston size 16 mm
1. Place foot mountings in both ends of the cylinder on a firm,
level surface; see Figure 5.
2. Place the cylinder on the foot mountings and press them
against the recess in the lower edge of the cylinder.
3. Attach one side (1) of each foot mounting to the surface with
suitable screws or bolts.
4. Position the loose plate (2) on the other side of the foot
mounting and attach also that side to the surface. The cylinder
is now firmly gripped between the foot mountings.
5. Tighten the screws gradually to avoid strain. See Table 3, on
page 50 for tightening torques.
