9.2.1

Check the compressed air connection

Regularly check the compressed air connections and
compressed air lines for leaks. Replace damaged or crushed
lines.
9.2.2

Re-adjust the play in the shuttle

On cylinders with slide bearing guide (RMC-SB) the play in the
shuttle may increase over time because of wear. Some play is
needed to keep friction to a minimum.
1. If necessary, tighten the screws on the sides of the shuttle
alternately as shown in Figure 13 until the shuttle is centred
and there is no play.
2. Unscrew the screws up to one-quarter of a turn. A small
amount of play must be felt if the shuttle is tapped lightly with
a rubber hammer or similar tool.
