6.2.4 Fitting foot mountings, piston size 16 mm heavy
duty
1. Dismount the side covers (1) of the rail holder. See Figure 6.
2. Drill four holes, diameter 4.8 mm, through the bottom at each
end of the rail holder. See Figure 6, left.
3. Slide in the two nut brackets (2) to fit over the drilled holes.
4. Attach each foot mounting (3) to the cylinder by screwing the
screws supplied (4) into the nut brackets. Tightening torque
3,3 Nm.
5. Place the cylinder on a firm, level surface and attach each foot
mounting to the surface with suitable screws or bolts. The
cylinder is now firmly gripped between the foot mountings.
6. Tighten the screws gradually to avoid strain. See Table 3, on
page 50 for tightening torques.
7. Re-mount the side covers (1) of the rail holder.
