Start the bike and allow it to reach operating
temperature. Adjust the idle speed by turning the
air screw.Access to the air screw is through a hole
in the protective cover in the throttle body.

Factory air screw setting
Turn the air screw in (clockwise) to decrease the
idle speed.
Turn the air screw in the opposite direction
(counterclockwise) to increase idle speed.
aTTenTiOn
Do not turn the air screw out (counterclockwise) more
than two turns
- Make sure that the bike is on its two wheels,
vertical and on a horizontal surface.
- Check the engine oil level by viewing the sight
gage located on the clutch housing
- Adjust the level according to the diagram
shown below.
If necessary add oil to
achieve the correct oil level.
- Unscrew the engine oil fil-
ler cap located on the

clutch housing
