3.3.b - Unipotential connection (Fig 7)
The equipment shall be inserted in a unipotential system,
whose effectiveness shall be verified according to the
rules being in force.
A cascade connection shall be carried out among the
various oven components by using the screw (1) placed
on the rear oven side.
3.5 - CONNECTING TO GAS SYSTEM
3.5.a - General rules (Fig. 8)
• The connection of the unit must be made by metal
pipes, galvanized steel or copper, placed on .
Each device must be connected in the system to its
own shut-off valve placed in the position which allows
easy handling and easy closure at the end of work. The
connection between the pipes of the unit and those of
gas, must be realized with metal joint to three pieces, to
facilitate disassembly and reassembly of the unit. The
seal connection threads can be ensured by suitable
materials specifically declared by their manufacturer
for the LPG. The unit should be operated from the
type of suitable gas (see data plate) and having the
characteristics shown in the Technical Data table.
• Connect the power supply line of the gas to the fitting
(1) of the oven (1/2 G - R = 1/2-14).
DANGER
Caution: Do not use rubber hoses.
3.5.b - Checking for gas leaks
• After the installation you need to check that there are
no gas leaks into the environment, and this can be
verified by strokes of soapy water on the joints or con-
nections, a minimum loss will be indicated by bubbles
of foam. Another system for the detection of gas leaks
is that represented by the verification on the counter
where there is: the same, for a control period lasting
about 10 minutes, must not report any gas passage.
DANGER
Caution: Never use an open flame to search for gas
leaks.
