2.2 Function
Pulling the cable of the cable pull switch wire will reach the first control point
(S1) and activate control signal A. When the cable is pulled again, the
second control point (S2) is reached, control signal A drops off and control
signal B is activated. Now the control switch B is solely active.
3 Application
3.1 Indication
The 9X18 Cable Pull Switch is to be used solely in exoprosthetic fittings of
the upper extremities and for myoelectric control of arm prostheses.
3.2 Application
The 9X18 Cable Pull Switch is suitable for both right or left arm amputees as
well as bilateral amputees.
3.3 Conditions of Use
The 9X18 Cable Pull Switch is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
3.4 Qualification
The fitting of patients with the 9X18 Cable Pull Switch may only be carried
out by a prosthetist.

4 Safety Instructions

Failure to follow the safety instructions given below can lead to faulty control
or malfunction of the 9X18 Cable Pull Switch and result in a risk of injury for
the patient.

The cable pull switch features 2 control points
that are controlled independently and one after
the other. A function for control of the prosthetic
components is assigned to each control point.
The control point 1 should always be assigned to
the 'close hand' function.
