ADJUSTING GAS VALVE MINIMUM SETTING
Important
This adjustment is only required if the type
of gas to be connected is different from that
used for testing after the conversion proce-
dure has been carried out (see page 19). Be-
Natural and bottled gas
Proceed as follows.
1 - Turn off the gas supply tap and switch off the
main electricity supply.
2 - Remove the knob (B).
3 - Undo the screws (C) and remove the control
panel (D).
4 - Undo the screw (E) of the pressure connection.
5 - Connect the pressure gauge (F) to the pressure
test point.
6 - Turn the guard (G) anticlockwise and remove it.
7 - Turn the gas supply tap back on and switch the
main electricity supply back on.
8 - Light the burner and turn the control knob (A) to
the maximum temperature setting (see page 9)
9 - Turn the control knob (A) anti-clockwise to the
lowest power setting.
Note: You will hear the click as the device switches.
10 - Adjust the pressure using the screw (H) to suit
the type of gas being supplied, until the corre-
sponding value appears on the pressure gauge
(See Burner injector table)
– Turn clockwise to increase the pressure
– Turn anticlockwise to decrease the pressure
Important
The nut (L) must be screwed fully down.
11 - Check the stability of the flame.
12 - Switch the burner off and back on a few times
to check that the setting has been made cor-
rectly.

gas supply pressure is the same as the rat-
ed pressure for the type of gas in use (see
table at back of manual).

13 - Switch off the burner, turn off the gas supply tap
and disconnect the pressure gauge.
14 - Fully tighten the screw (E)
15 - After making the setting, seal the screws (E-H)
with paint.
16 - Replace the guard (G).
17 - Replace the control panel (D) and the knob (B)
on completion of the operation.
