16. Ensure that the shoulder belt part passes over the child's collarbone
and not his or her neck. Adjust the height of the headrest to achieve
this if necessary.
CAUTION! The lap belt part must be positioned as low as possible over
the child's hips on both sides.
7. INSTALLING THE SAFETY SEAT IN FORWARD-FACING
POSITION.
GROUP 2/3 (BELT)
1. Remove the shock-absorbing cushion (C), To do so, loosen the harness
straps

by pulling them as far out as possible whilst simultaneously
pressing the harness adjustment button
2. In Group 2/3, the buckle is not used. For this reason, place the buckle
in position A (fig. 7.2).
3. Fasten the harness straps
backrest cover. Next, join all parts of the buckle correctly (fig 7.3), open
the lid of the compartment found on the base of the safety seat, insert
the buckle and close the compartment (fig 7.4).
4. Press the support leg adjustment button

5. Adjust the height of the headrest to the child's height (fig. 7.8).
TIP: If the back is obscuring the guide (B), you can raise the headrest (A).
You will then be able to insert the diagonal strap of the belt without any
problem. Readjust the headrest to the child's heigth.
6. Put your child in the safety seat. Pull the vehicle seat belt and pass it
in front of your child until it fastens into the vehicle's seat belt buckle.
CAUTION! Do not twist the belt.
7. Insert the clasp into the vehicle's seat belt buckle. You should hear a
click indicating that it is secure.
