Storage
Close the closure system up to approx. 5 cm before the
stop. Check regularly if the closure system is still suffi-
ciently greased.
Slide the provided flat pouches over the boots so that the
chemical protective suit will not change colour.
Follow ISO 2230 and national regulations for storage,
maintenance and cleaning of rubber products.
Store the chemical protective suit in a dark, cool, dry and
airy place without pressure or stress. Keep out of UV light
and direct sunlight; avoid ozone.
Storage temperature: –5
In stationary depot storage:
Hang chemical protective suit
so that hood touches the
ground or
Lay the chemical protective
suit over a bar so that the pro-
tective boots stand on the
floor.
For storage in the emergency
vehicle:
Fold the chemical protective
suit carefully and without
pressure:
Do not forcibly crease suit
material, seams and closure
system.
Lay sleeves across the chest
part (1).
Roll up protective boots
inside trouser legs and lay
them on the sleeves (2, 3, 4).
Lay the headpiece over the
rolled-up trouser legs (5).
Place chemical protective
suit inside carrier bag and
store in the appropriate storage compartment or lay flat
in a textile-lined bay. Avoid wear due to constant friction
against the storage surface.

Service Life

The material properties of the suit will be preserved for at least
ten years if not used and if stored under the conditions
recommended here, with the recommended maintenance
intervals. The service life may be reduced despite correct
storage and servicing if the suit is used frequently.
