1.5.- Water inlet V.
− Connect the appliance to a drinking water supply only.
− Make the connection to the water supply via point A (Fig. 1), using the hose supplied.
− The water inlet pressure must be between 50 and 400 Kla.
− Install a filter and stop cock in the water inlet.
− For water with a hardness of over 10º F a de-limer must be installed.
− Conductivity of the water 50-2000µS, lower conductivity optional.
− Maximum chloride Cl concentration under 150 mg./litres.
− In the case of values of over 2000µS or an excess amount of chlorides, insert a hydrogen ion
exchanger (Fig.3-A).
− Redox potential of water lower than 300 mV, (alternatively chlorine concentration (CL2) less
than 0.1 mg/litre).
− In the case of values of over 300 mV redox potential, insert an active carbon filter (observe
the maintenance frequencies of the filter) (Fig. 3-B).
− A sedimentation filter (0.08 mm) when the impurities in the drinking water are high (Fig. 3-
C).
− Recommneded measuring devices: conductivity measuring device, redox potentiometer, CL2
measuring device (swimming pool accessory).
1.6.- Drain.
− The connection will be made at point B (Fig. 1).
− The connection hose must withstand steam (100ºC).
1.7.- Gas inlet.
− The connection will be made by means of a hose with a ½" and ¾" connector in the HGV
models.
− A shut-off valve and pressure regulator will be installed between the appliance and the gas
distribution network.
1.8.- Transformation to different gases.
− HGV and HGC ovens are not convertible to other gases..
