Additional digital, incremental real-time signal
(BML_S1G0-_ _ _ _-M5EQ-_0-)
The digital incremental interface is described in
the document Interfaces for BML Magnetically
Coded Position Measuring System (Doc.
No. 929191). The document is part of this guide
and must be used.
The outputs have the following data:

With the BML-S1G0-_ _ _ _-M5EQ-_0-... with magnetic
tape, the maximum movement speed depends on the
minimum edge separation and the mechanical resolution
(see Tab. 6-16).

Important!

The controller must be able to count the
minimum timed edge separations indicated
in the tables (note the counting frequency of
the controller!).
The min. edge separation can even occur at
a standstill due to the internal interpolation
process.
Always select the next-higher movement
speed or the next-largest min. edge
separation, otherwise position detection
errors may be created by the controller
during evaluation.

Measuring System (Doc. No. 929191).
