INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

RESET

When a PLUS4 board is added to a SmartZone™, press reset to
update the controller so it recognizes the additional zones. The reset
button is located on the back of the front panel.

PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS

PROGRAMS
The SmartZone™ can operate a maximum of four programs. The
programs are labeled A, B, C and S. A, B and C are traditional
irrigation programs that are used to group plant material or zones of
like watering requirements (i.e. sun, shade, rotors, sprays, etc.) The
"S" stands for simultaneous. This program can run simultaneously
with the A, B or C programs.
The S program is designed for situations where you would like to run
two programs at the same time (i.e. a drip zone with a rotor zone). The
S program can be used as a forth traditional program, but be aware that
if any part of the S program's run times overlap with another program,
the controller will attempt to operate them at the same time.
NOTE: Be sure not to exceed the electric or hydraulic limitations of
your system when using the S program.

PROGRAMMING OVERVIEW

Before programming the SmartZone™, it will be helpful to become
familiar with some general programming guidelines.
