SETTING DATE/TIME
IT IS NECESSARY TO SET THE DATE AND TIME FOR THE UNIT EVERY
TIME BATTERIES ARE INITIALLY INSTALLED OR REPLACED.
The date/time feature is on the top of the display screen, Fig 1.
This unit stores the date and time, including year.
1. When the unit is off (a blank display screen), press and
release the SET button; the year will begin to flash on the
center of the display.
2. Press the MEM button to advance the display to the desired
month, press SET to confirm the year.
3. next, the month will blink on the upper left of the display.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 to set the month, date, then hours, then
minutes.
4. After setting the minutes, the unit will automatically exit out of
the date/time setting mode and briefly show the word OFF
before shutting down.
