SETTING DATE/TIME
IT IS NECESSARY TO SET THE DATE AND TIME FOR THE UNIT EVERY
TIME BATTERIES ARE INITIALLY INSTALLED OR REPLACED.
The date/time feature is displayed on the lower portion of the display screen, Fig
1.
When new batteries are installed into the monitor, the unit will automatically begin
the date/time setting process. If the date/time needs to be changed, remove the
batteries and wait 30 seconds. Then reinstall the batteries.
1. The year will be blinking the screen, Fig. 1. Press the M1 button to advance
the year until the desired number appears. To scroll through the numbers
quicker, hold down the M1 button as the numbers advance.
2. Press the M2 button to confirm the month entry.
3. Next, the month will blink. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to set the month, then date,
then hours, then minutes, Fig 2-5.
4. After setting the minutes, the unit will automatically exit out of the date/time
setting mode and turn off.
