10. Startup

10.1 Installation of electrodes and sensors

10.1.1 Fitting of electrodes

1. Unscrew the plugs of the holders (A, B) to be used.
2. Remove the protective caps from the electrodes.
Keep them for electrode removal.
3. Screw the electrodes into the holders by hand.
– Screw reference electrode in location K.
– Screw pH electrode in location A.
– Screw redox electrode in location B.
Observe the installation and operating instructions of

10.1.2 Fitting of temperature sensor and water sensor
(optional)
1. Remove the cover (L).
2. Insert temperature sensor (C) into the supplied cover and
secure with the screwed gland.
3. Screw the water sensor (D) into the supplied cover.
4. Insert the cover with sensor(s) into the measuring cell.
5. Check that the markings on the cover (L) and the cylinder (M)
align, or correct by rotating, see
mounting position of the housing

10.1.3 Checking the mounting position of the housing cover
To guarantee correct fitting of the electrode sensor cover (L) in
the cylinder (M), both parts are provided with markings:
• Inscribed markings (X1 and X2) are in the cover (L) and on the
bottom of the cylinder (M).
• The cylinder has a vertical line marking (engraved groove X3).
1. Insert the cover into the cylinder such that the markings align.
