The bead breaker disc must not press against the rim but the tyre bead.
NB: When working with radial tyres with delicate side walls or rims with a very high edge,
insert the bead breaker deeply between the rim edge and the bead, as far as the base
of the shoulder of the rim.
When the bead breaking is complete, lubricate the bead and the shoulder of the rim
using the specific grease or a soapy solution, keeping the wheel in movement.
Repeat the same operations for front bead breaking.
To avoid all risk, lubricate the beads turning the wheel CLOCKWISE if you are working
on the outer side or ANTICLOCKWISE if working on the inner side.
Turn the tool unit to continue with the removal of the
first bead.
Move the wheel against the special tool (A fig. 24) us-
ing the control lever until it is coupled with the bead.
Once the operation is complete, stretch the tyre,
moving the rim away from the tool to force the bead
into the well.
Insert the specific lever (B fig. 20) between the bead
and the rim, to the right of the tool, to prevent the
bead from being released from the tool.
Move the outer edge of the rim near the reference
shown on the tool (C fig.20a).
Move the rim towards the tool and turn the wheel
in an anticlockwise direction until the front bead is
completely out.
Place the wheel on the machine surface and move
back the rim to create the space necessary to easily
remove the inner tube (Fig. 21).
