The vertical sliding door is fitted with counterweights to ensure perfect closure and smooth movement. The counterweight action can be adju-
sted by adding one or more of the washers (additional counterweights) supplied with the fireplace.
The additional counterweights (washers) can be added at any time without having to remove the fireplace's outer shell.
Procedure
1. Fully open the vertical sliding door pushing it upwards.
2. Remove the fixing plates, left and right (No. 31 on the exploded view), for the firebox walls in Ecokeram®
3. Remove the firebox walls in Ecokeram®.
4. At this point you should be able to see the counterweight compartment inspection plates (A). Unscrew the screws and remove the covers from
the counterweight compartments.
5. Position the compensating washers supplied, required to balance the door.
6. Ensure that the washers are well inserted in the housings on the counterweight hook, proceeding as shown in B and B'. The same number of
additional counterweights must be fitted on both sides.
7. Replace the counterweight compartment inspection plates and put the walls of the firebox back into position.
8. Replace the fixing plates on the firebox walls.
Finishing frame
A frame can be fitted around the mouth of FIRETRONIX for a smoother finish between fireplace and covering.
