INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
HOT AIR DUCTING AND COVERING
Four hot air outlets are provided on the top of the
outer shell for heating the room.
grille A
• two outlets (G and H) are supplied open ready
for connection to two hot air distribution pipes.

They can be fixed with self-threading screws.
• the other two outlets (F and I) are supplied clo-

sed with metal plugs and must only be opened if
used. If only one of these is used, the other must
remain closed.
NONE OF THE OUTLETS MUST BE OPEN
AND UNDUCTED ON COMPLETION OF
INSTALLATION.
FIREPLACE COVERING
Before covering Firetronix, carefully read and fol-
low the instructions contained in the packaging of
the fireplace covering.
Some important points:
• one or two grilles (A and B) must be provided

at the top of the hood surround to which the duc-
ting pipes
must be connected. The grilles must also have a
I
section (*) to allow heat accumulated in the hood
surround to escape.
• an inspection hatch (C) must be provided at the
H
F
front or sides of the hood surround for inspection
of the smoke probe and electromagnet.

• a passage must be provided on the base for
heating air recirculation (D).
• the primary air damper fan and the actuators
housed in the base can be inspected from inside
the firebox
by removing the covering and refractory fire bed
(inspection area E).
