REAR BRAKE PEDAL POSITION ADJUSTMENT
The position of the rear brake pedal with respect
to the footrest may be adjusted according to the
individual needs.
For adjusting, proceed as follows.
- loosen the nut (1);
- act on the screw (2) to adjust the pedal position
(3).
Once this adjustment is completed, adjust the free
play of the pedal as follows.
REAR BRAKE PEDAL FREE PLAY ADJUSTMENT
The rear brake pedal (3) should have a free play (B) 3
mm (0.11 in.) before the brakes begin to bite.
Should this not happen, operate as follows:
- loosen nut (4);
- operate the pump rod (5) to increase or decrease
the free play;
- tighten nut (4) at the end of the operation.
WARNING*: In the absence of the required free
play, the brake pads will rapidly wear, conse-
quently running the risk of the BRAKE BECOM-
ING TOTALLY INEFFICIENT or the rear brake
locking.

FRONT BRAKE CONTROL LEVER ADJUSTMENT
On the model, the lever on the handlebar can be
adjusted to 4 positions according to the size of the
rider's hand. To move the lever towards the twist-
grip, turn the adjuster (B) CLOCKWISE and to move
it away from the twistgrip, turn the adjuster (B)
ANTICLOCKWISE.
