6.9 Connect Push-Pull

Ventilate the entire cooling system as follows when used for the first time and
after every hose assembly change:
1 Disconnect the coolant return hose (1) from the re-circulating cooling
unit (2) and hold it over a collecting device.
2 Close the opening at the coolant return hose (1) and open it again by
repeatedly and abruptly releasing it, until the coolant is flowing
continuously and without air bubbles into the collecting device.
3 Switch off the re-circulating cooling unit (2) and reconnect the coolant
return hose (1).

The control line is open on the machine side. The customer has to provide the
connection of a suitable plug. If all data are provided, the machine can also
be delivered ready-to-connect. Otherwise choose a compatible plug for your
power supply and solder it to the corresponding wires according to the
assignment plan.
The adjustment of the wire feed rate between the push and pull motors requires
the proper gear transmission to be selected.
Three connection options for the electric connection are listed below.

Parallel connection

The connection version is that of the standard design. Install the micro-fuse
included in the scope of delivery together with the holder in the wire feed unit
in a readily accessible location.
