By way of the rotary knob of the threaded spindle,
the universal clamp is quickly be centered from
inside to outside and from outside to inside in the
center axis of the rim and clamped to the rim.

Make sure the mounting hole is located centrally with
respect to the upper and lower clamping slides. The
two wing screws can be used for adjustment (heed red
mark).

Make sure that identical mounts for the clamp claws are
used.
1. Position the clamp claws evenly on the inside or
outside of the rim flange.
2. Turn the clamp screw and press the clamp claws
outwards or inwards against the rim.
3. Engage the safety ropes at the rim.
Check if the safety rope is engaged.

Check the firmness of the clamp claws again fol-
lowing attachment of the universal clamp to the tire.
If the holding force is insufficient, adapt the type of
clamping and clamp claws.

Following completion of run-out compensation, the
universal clamps must be in vertical position.

Mounting the measurement boards

1. Lightly lubricate the socket pins of the measurement
boards to protect the pin and socket.
2. Affix all 4 measurement boards to the holders.
 For the right position, see yellow label on the
back of the measurement boards.

Measurement boards can be attached to the holders
in any order.
i
Check the firm attachment of the universal clamps
and measurements boards to the rim after they have
been mounted.
