3.5 Troubleshooting

ANY INTERNAL INSPECTION OR REPAIR MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY QUALIFIED
PERSONNEL.
BEFORE REMOVING THE PROTECTIVE GUARDS AND ACCESSING INTERNAL
PARTS, DISCONNECT THE POWER SOURCE FROM THE MAINS AND WAIT FOR
THE INTERNAL CAPACITORS TO DISCHARGE (2 MINUTES).

3.5.1 The power source does not start, control panel off

MAINS OK TEST (Fig. 3.5.1.a)
□ No voltage due to tripped mains protection.
MAINS CONNECTION TEST (Fig. 3.5.1.a)
□ Input terminals of bridge rectifier (23). These lead from AC_IN_1, AC_IN_2, AC_IN_3
terminals on precharge filter board (39) = 3 x 400 Vac, with switch (5) closed.

Eliminate any short-circuits or insulation leaks to earth at the
connections between mains cable, switch (5), filter board (39),
bridge rectifier (23) and power board (48) and between J4 of
filter board (39) and primary winding of service transformer (38).
Checking integrity of bridge rectifier (23), service transformer
(38), precharge filter board (39) and power board (48). Replace
if necessary
