NOTE
A clamping prism and a milling cutter are required for the first equipment and the functionality of the
maintenance station. They depend on the torch and gas nozzle geometry.

4 Functional description

The cleaning station BRS-LC is used according to its designated use inside an automated welding cell. The
automatic welding torch is moved by the robot first into the cleaning station BRS-LC and then into the
injection unit VI.
Inside the BRS-LC , the welding spatters are removed by a milling cutter from the interior of the gas nozzle.
The cleaning process is optimized by an air-blast function (option) through the cable assembly.
As a preventive measure, the cleaned interior of the gas nozzle is sprayed in the VI with a dosed quantity
of anti-spatter fluid to protect against adhesion of spatter.
Make sure that the shipment is complete by referring to the delivery note!
Check the delivery for damage (visual inspection)!
If the delivery has been damaged during transport, contact the last carrier immediately! Keep
the packaging for possible checks by the carrier.
