Start lock-out
The appliance cannot be switched on until
the blender has been turned firmly into place.
Automatic disconnection
The appliance switches off automatically
if the blender accidentally becomes
detached during operation.

see "Troubleshooting".

Operation

Preparation
Before operating the appliance and

accessories for the first time, clean
thoroughly; see "Cleaning and servicing".
Place motor block on a smooth, level and

clean work surface.
Unwind the cable to the required length.

Blender attachment
The blender is suitable for
– blending and frothing liquids,
– cutting and chopping raw fruit, vegetables,
nuts and chocolate,
– puréeing soups, cooked fruit and
vegetables,
– preparing mayonnaise and sauces.
The appliance is suitable for preparing the
following quantities:
Solid food
Liquids

Risk of injury from sharp
blades/rotating drive!
Never place fingers in the attached
blender. Never operate the appliance
without a completely assembled blender
or attached lid! Do not remove or attach
blender until the drive has stopped.
When the appliance has been switched
off, the blade continues running briefly.

Risk of scalding!
If processing hot liquids, steam escapes
through the funnel in the lid.
Do not add hot or frothing liquid.
Warning!
Never operate an empty blender.
Always work with a completely assembled
appliance. Screw the blender fully onto the
motor block. Place motor block on a smooth,
level and clean work surface.
