If you want to make an automatic switchover between the grid and the EPS output, please contact
the ECOFOREST technical service.
▪
Note that the EPS output is not an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), since the switching time
between the grid output and the EPS output of the inverter is <5s. If you do not want the loads
NOTE
connected to the EPS output to even run out of power, it will be necessary to connect an
intermediate UPS system in series with the EPS output.
3.5. Controller power supply
For the power supply of the controller and electronics, the e-system requires single-
phase power, L/N/PE 230 V / 50-60 Hz. The controller power supply can be taken directly
from the panel, which means through the double terminal of the network connection,
or by an independent connection. In this case, insert the power cable through the back
cover of the e-system. Next, connect the wires to the power terminal block, as indicated
in the image.

3.6. Communication ports (pLAN, Fieldbus1, BMS2)
The e-system has three entrances connected to the different communication ports of
the controller on the upper rail. Communications with the controller are made using the
Modbus RTU protocol under the RS485 standard.
The pLAN port is reserved for communication with the pump or heat pumps of the
ecoGEO, ecoGEO HP and ecoAIR range. The connection between the heat pump and the
e-system will be carried out as shown in the figure.
