Illustration 3.10. Example of digital output relay power supply connections.
Each relay allows cutting the poles (line + neutral) with a capacity of 8A / 250Vac per
pole. If the equipment to be controlled exceeds this capacity it is necessary to install an
external relay.
▪
Pay special attention to the maximum consumption allowed by each relay. Use an intermediate
relay for the connection, if necessary.
NOTE
3.9. Installation or replacement of battery modules
The e-system allows you to accumulate the electrical surplus generated in the panels
both as heat or cool through the regulation of your heat pump communicated with the
system or directly on the lithium-ion battery modules that it incorporates.
The battery accumulation system consists of a modular system that allows the parallel
connection of up to five modules of capacity of 2.4kWh each (that is, a maximum of
12kWh of capacity). By default, the ecoSMART e-system is distributed with at least one
battery module inside, but the storage capacity could be factory preconfigured
depending on the needs of your installation
Although lithium-ion batteries do not require any type of periodic maintenance, you
may eventually want to upgrade your storage capacity, or it may be necessary to replace
any of the modules. In this case, as a modular system, the installation and configuration
of a new battery module is quite simple.
