Pneumatic cylinder replacement

1. Remove the left side, the upper and front
protections;
2. disconnect the pneumatic system;
3. dismantle and replace the cylinder;
4. adjust the position of the cylinder using the 4
support screws (Fig. 18, 1).

4.8 Digital inputs and outputs
4.8.1 Protection micro switch
i
When the cover is lowered, if the machine functions
correctly, the ON sign appears.
€
Should the micro show problems, check the position
of the functioning cam and of the same micro, as
well as the cables' connection (see electric layout).
!
A malfunctioning of the micro can cause the
pneumatic flange to block.

4.8.2 Pedals
i
The function controls the pedal in its functions:
+
Right pedal: activates the magnetic brake (brake
pedal input ON).
+
Left pedal: opens/closes the pneumatic flange (in
WBE 4425).

Should malfunctionings arise, check the micros and,
by means of a tester (multimeter), that the connec-
tion cables are not damaged (see electric layout).
4.8.3

Aludata magnet

i
Using the ARROW keys, select "magnet" and press
OK to check the functions of the magnet, therefore
of the blocking of the aludata tester in position.

In case it does not work, using a multimeter, check
that voltage reaches the magnet and proceed to its
replacement.
4.8.4 Electromagnetic brake
i
Using the ARROW keys, select "brake" and press OK
to activate the engine brake.
€
Should it not work, check it is active from the setting
page or proceed with the replacement of the entire
engine.
4.8.5 Pneumatic flange opening/closing
i
Using the ARROW keys, select "flange open/close"
and press OK to check the functioning of the
pneumatic flange.
€
Should it not work, replace the entire solenoid valve.
€
If the mechanism does not open completely, check
the working pressure of the pneumatic system and
check that the cylinder is perfectly in axis with the
measuring shaft.
