TECHNICIAN - INITIAL BOILER CHECK

To start up the boiler, proceed as follows:
- ensure that the declaration of conformity of installation is supplied with
the appliance;

- ensure that the type of gas used corresponds to boiler settings;
- check connection to a 230V-50Hz power mains, correct L-N polarity
and the earthing connection;

- switch on the boiler and ensure correct ignition;
- check the domestic and heating ∆p gas values;
- check the CO
in the fumes at max. and min. output;

- ensure activation of the safety device in the event of gas supply failure,
as well as the relative activation time;
- check activation of the main circuit-breaker switch upstream of the boiler

Remote Friend Control: the boiler is designed to use the Remote Friend
Control (RFC), which must be connected by means of terminals 42 and
43 on the terminal board (located under the sealed chamber), respecting
the polarity and eliminating jumper X40.

- check that the intake and/or exhaust terminals are not blocked;
- ensure activation of all regulation devices;
- seal the gas flow rate regulation devices (if settings are modified);
- ensure production of hot domestic water;
- ensure sealing efficiency of water circuits;
- check ventilation and/or aeration of the installation room where pro-
vided.
If any checks/inspection give negative results, do not start the boiler.

Room thermostat: the boiler is designed to use the Room Thermostat (S20),
which must be connected by means of terminals 40 - 41 on the terminal
board (located under the sealed chamber), respecting the polarity and
eliminating jumper X40.
X19 used for connection to personal computer in maintenance opera-
tions.
X17 used to update software.
