Elastomere change
The use of 3 elastomer grades of a different
density makes it possible to adjust the
vibration transmission.
BLACK ELASTOMER: 95 Shore: FIRM
RED ELASTOMER: 84 Shore: MEDIUM
GREY ELASTOMER: 64 Shore: SOFT
1) Unscrew fully screw A using a 4mm hollow
spanner for hexagon nuts.
2) Remove pad F.
3) Make both pads and both spacers slide
down to the bottom of E-post.
4) Remove elastomer by making it slide down
to the bottom of E-post.
5) Do not remove the support washer.
6) Insert a new elastomer from the bottom of
E-post
7) Insert 1 spacer and 1 pad, then again 1
spacer and 1 pad, following the same order.
8) Insert the plug
9) Screw screw A in the plug using a 4mm
hollow spanner for hexagon nuts.

Assembling the seatpost in the frame
Attachment of this LOOK's patented seatpost
to the frame has several advantages
including absolute downwards support,
while absorbing vertical and transverse
vibrations as well as the height adjustment.
These functions are achieved using a single
screw, and forces applied on the various
parts are moderate.
OPERACIONS :
1/ Cut the seatpost to height
2/ Install the seatpost in the frame
IMPORTANT: Respect the following in-
structions scrupulously because the seat
tube cutting operation is irreversible. If
the seat height is not known with cer-
tainty, work in two steps, first by cutting
the tube longer than necessary (reduce
the length to be cut off described later in
the process by a few mm).
