1/ Cutting the seatpost
to its height
1 – On the seatpost:
Check that the 3
preinstalled spacers are in place
2 – Insert the seatpost inside the frame and
adjust the horizontal position of the seat.
Use the previous position (FRONT/BACK)
(seat backwards movement)
4 – Tighten the seat carriage to the
recommended torque of 22 Nm
5 – Measure the height «B» of your new
cycle (Picture 1)
6 – Calculate the cut length «L» using the
formula: L = B - A (new seat height – old
seat height)
7 – Remove the seatpost
8 – Install the template:
Put the template at height «L» measured
from the saw cut and the top of the seat tube
(Picture 2).
9 – Tighten the template in position with the
transverse screw (Picture 3)
10 – Cut the tube to length, inserting the saw
(24 or 32 teeth / inch) in the saw cut (saw in
the vertical position) (Photo 4).
11 – Take the template off and deburr the end
of the tube. Make sure that the end of the
tube is clean and free of paint.

2/ Installing the seatpost
in the frame
1 – Make sure that the seatpost screw is
loose (the screw must still be threaded
but the elastic rings expander must not be
clamped).
2 – Adjust the height (possible every 1.25 mm
from 0 to 32,5 mm): choose the combination
of spacers among the 6 parts provided (see
table on facing page that summarizes all
possibilities) and fit the chosen spacers
under the shoulder of the seatpost. Keep at
least the following three parts.

your required adjustment height
3 – Insert the seatpost in the seat tube
and position it to the stop at the top of the
connector.
4 – Tighten the seatpost screw (4 mm Allen
key to torque of 5 Nm). (Picture 5)
