Chapter Three Four Wheel Aligner Operation Procedure
3.1 Preparation and limited condition before operation
Preparation includes:
(1) Check the fixed pins in turn plate and measuring sliding table in working position.
(2) Adjust the position of Turn plate according to vehicle tread, to keep wheels in the center of turnplates, which can avoid
measuring deviation.
(3) Move vehicle to lift with neutral gear and handle brake released,Stop rear wheels with rubberblock to prevent vehicle
moving.
(4) Check size of hub,tire pressure and abrasion and components of steering system and suspension system, such as tie rod
ball, dampers etc. if unqualified found, repair it well before alignment.
(5) Extract fixed pins from turn plate and sliding table, press the front and the back of the vehicle to keep it in free state
and adjust steering wheel. And then plug the fixed pins of turn plate and sliding table.
(6) Install clamps and target plates. when installation, claws of clamps should close to rims. Each target plate match up one
wheel.
(7) Adjust the target plates
(8) Check if tools are in right place according to index pictures.
(9) Check if aligner and lift are connected well
(10) Check if lift works well
