problems, upgrade the power source firmware to the
last version available on the Cebora Web site (see par.
2.4);
− check the compatibility of the components being used
(torch, type of contact tip, wire type and diameter, type
of gas, etc.) with the type of welding being carried out;
− check the wear status of the torch and its components,
replacing them if necessary;
− replace the panel board (48).
WIRE FEEDER MOTOR (25) BRAKING TEST.
□ Panel board (48), connector J13, terminals 1 and 2(gnd)
= Fig. 5.4.3, when the start button is released and with
open-circuit power source (voltage on the wire feeder
motor (25) during correct braking). The wire feeder
motor stops immediately.
YES
♦ Check the wiring between J13 of panel board
(48) and motor (25).
EN
♦ If the motor slows down with its own inertia
(Fig. 5.4.4 or similar), the braking circuit
on panel board (48) may be not working, in
which case replace the panel board (48).
■ Make sure that there are no mechanical impediments
preventing the wire coil from stopping despite the
braking action of the motor (e.g.: slipping of the wire
feeder rollers, improperly adjusted roller spring, etc.).
■ Replace the panel board (48) and/or motor (25).
3.3.13

Cooling unit doesn't work correctly.

Upon power source start-up, the panel board (48) checks
whether the cooling unit is connected, by means of the
signal provided by the jumper on terminals 1 - 2 of the
connector (9) on cooling unit (Fig. 3.3.13).
With the connector (9) disconnected, or with the jumper
interrupted, the cooling unit is disabled and the operating
mode selection from control panel is not possible;.if the
cooling unit is already enabled, you will have the power
source block with indication of the relative error code.
COOLING UNIT POWER SUPPLY TEST.
□ Power board (45), terminals J-L1 - J-L3 = 220 Vac,
with power source powered.
COOLING UNIT CONNECTED TEST (see Connectors
map, par. 5.7).
□ Power board (45), connector J4, terminals 3(+) - 4(-) = 0
Vdc, cooling unit connected; +24 Vdc, approx. cooling
unit not connected or wiring interrupted.

Correct?
NO
NOTE

PUMP (26) TEST (see electric diagram, par. 5.3).
□ Pump (26) terminals, on cooling unit, voltage = 220
Vac, with cooling unit enabled.
□ With power source off, temporarily disconnect the
wires from pump (26) terminal board and check the
resistance between the terminals of pump (26) (pump
(26) motor winding resistance). Correct value = ap-
proximately 22 ohm.
□ Check the integrity and connection of the starting ca-
pacitor of the pump (26) (located a side of the pump
(26) motor).
FANS (2) TEST (see electric diagram, par. 5.3).
□ Fans (2) terminals, on cooling unit, voltage = 220 Vac,
with cooling unit enabled.
□ With power source off, temporarily disconnect the
wires from the fans terminal board and check the re-
sistance between the terminals of fans (2) (fans (2)
winding resistance). Correct value = approximately
750 ohm.
PRESSURE SWITCH (23) TEST (Fig. 3.3.13 and Connec-
tors map, par. 5.7).
□ Power board (45), connector J4, terminals 1(+) - 4(-)
= 0 Vdc, with pump (26) running (pressure switch
contact closed = suitable pressure); +24 Vdc, approx.
with power source on and pump (26) stopped (pressure
switch contact open = pressure low).
