1. FUNCTIONAL TEST OF GAS PRESSURE
REDUCER
1. Screw the gas pressure reducer to the CO
(not included in the pack). The connection is flat and
requires no additional sealing. If necessary, tighten the
hand wheel with a suitable wrench.
2. Close the shut-off valve ( A , transverse to the direction
of flow).
3. Open the pressurised gas cylinder valve and close it
again ( C ).
4. Check for leaks.
5. Open the pressurised gas cylinder valve again ( B ).
6. Use the hexagonal regulator ( C ) to set the working
pressure to approx. 3.5 bar ( D ) – green mark.
7. Use the hexagonal regulator ( C ) to increase the pres-
sure to 7 bar – red mark ( D ).
8. Use the hexagonal regulator ( C ) to slowly increase the
pressure gradually until a slight blow-off begins.
9. Use the hexagonal regulator ( C ) to increase the pres-
sure further until the safety valve opens fully with a
loud noise. Observe the pressure gauge ( D ) this should
not exceed a value of approx. 7.7 bar.
10. Close the pressurised gas cylinder valve ( B ) immedi-
ately afterwards and turn the hexagonal regulator ( C )
back to 0 bar to prevent icing.
11. Open the pressurised gas cylinder valve (B) again and
set to the right working pressure of 3.5 bar.
