Pretreatment in an ultrasonic bath

CAUTION
Risk of infection due to water spray and vapors from the
ultrasonic bath!
Wear a face mask and protective clothing.
Adequate ventilation is recommended.
1. Place the jaw insert A, shank tube B and handle C in the
ultrasound bath for at least 5 minutes. Position
instrument parts with large surface areas in the
ultrasonic bath such that they will not be damaged by
the ultrasonic energy.
2. Use suitable cleaning and disinfection products for
ultrasonic cleaning (see section 7.4, page 36).
3. Follow the manufacturer's instructions with regard to the
concentration and exposure time of the cleaning and
disinfection products.
