1.2 – Equipment description
SS-200E is a fully microprocessed high-frequency surgical device. After being tested in a great number
of surgeries, including in laparoscopic procedures, SS-200E has shown to be an efficient and safe
equipment of extremely simplified handling. It has waveforms and output power levels that are adequate to
every surgical procedure by producing a highly efficient flat cut and fulguration coagulation. Digital
memorization of power levels in all use modes (simple cut, mixed cut, coagulation and bipolar) gives
accuracy to surgical procedure while allowing the surgeon to repeat procedures by using the power levels
previously adjusted.
SS-200E is provided with ECUT function, which has been especially developed for endoscopic
polypectomy procedures.
Digital power adjustment through buttons provides a greater adjustment accuracy and quickness as
compared to conventional systems adjusted by commands. The possibility of use of self-adhesive plates
further reduces the risk of burns. Bipolar outlet is optimized for desiccation with extremely reduced cut or
fulguration trends, even at high power levels. Technology adopted in power circuit design allows a high
operation efficiency to be obtained and a consequent reduction of equipment weight, thus increasing its
portability.
SS-200E has adequate characteristics that allow its use with argon beam coagulators.
