3 – Instructions for Use of Equipment
Warning: This equipment must be used only by qualified personnel.
3.1 – Operation conditions
Room temperature range of +10
Relative humidity range of 30% to 75%
Atmospheric pressure range of 700 hPa to 1060 hPa (525 mmHg to 795 mmHg)
Once the conditions above are met, the equipment will be properly protected against damages and
deterioration.
Accessories supplied as sterilized are marked on their packing as sterile. That packing should not be
removed beforehand, as this would result in contamination of accessory.
3.2 – Knowing the equipment front panel
1 BLUE led indicating the spray coagulation function – SPRAY
2 YELLOW led indicating the pure cut function – PURE
3 Button to decrease the output power in percentages indicated on display (5) of function selected by key
(20).
4 YELLOW led indicating the cut output power (Pure, Blend 1, Blend 2 or Blend 3). Switches on only
when the footswitch is activated.
5 Display indicating power in Watts of the respective selected function (Pure Cut, Blend 1, Blend 2, Blend
3, Coag or Bipolar), increased by key (7) or decreased by (3).
6 BLUE led indicating the output power of spray or bipolar coagulation. It switches on only when the
footswitch is activated.
7 Button to increase the output power in percentages indicated on display (5) of function selected by key
(20).
8 RECALL button – when pressed, the electrosurgical unit will return to the power levels memorized by
SAVE button - (9)
9 SAVE button - it must be pressed to memorize the functions and respective powers to be recovered at
any time by pressing the RECALL button - (8)
10 RED led indicating fault in patient plate – cable break or disconnection from the patient plate – FAULT.
11 GREEN led indicating a powered device - POWER. It must switch on when the device is powered by
the on-off key (29) located on the back panel.
