4.2 Preparing the S tubular module

Fit the crown (G) and the drive wheel (H) to the S

tubular module (D).
Measure the length (L1) between the base of the S

tubular module head and the end of the drive wheel.
4.3 Tube preparation
Cut the roller tube (Ø > 47mm) to the required

length.
Deburr the roller tube and remove the swarf.

For smooth roller tubes (I), cut a notch with the

following measurements:
e = 4 mm; l = 28 mm

4.4 Assembling S tubular module -

This procedure is not valid for the short accessories
- drive wheel and end piece - specifically for aprons
which are small in width.
Slide the S tubular module (D) into the roller

tube.
For smooth roller tubes, position the notch
previously cut on the crown.
Fix the roller tube to the drive wheel with 4 x
2)
Ø 5 mm self-tapping screws or 4 steel pop rivets
of Ø 4.8 mm located:
at least 5 mm from the far end of the drive
-
wheel: L1 - 5, and
no more than 15 mm from the far end of the
-
drive wheel:
CAUTION! the screws or pop rivets must only be
attached to the drive wheel and not to the S tubular
module.
4.5 Fitting the Oximo RTS module with the
tube fitted with the S tubular module
Fit the tube complete with S tubular module (D)

to the end bracket (J).
