When inclined or vertically aligned linear units are
being assembled, they can fall down and cause injury.

Before starting work, ensure that there is sufficient
space for assembly.
Handle exposed components with sharp edges
carefully.
Ensure that the assembly site is kept clean and
tidy at all times! Components and tools lying
around or on top of one another are sources of
accidents.
Assemble components properly. Adhere to the
required screw tightening torques.
Secure components so that they do not fall down
or topple over.
Call in another person to secure the linear unit
during assembly.
Move the guide carriage into the bottom end posi-
tion.
