This timepiece has the capacity to indicate two time zones. The first, considered as the reference time (or
home time), is indicated at the base of the dial by the hours hand (G). The day/night indication is also
connected to this time zone and shown by hand (H).
The second time zone, considered as local time, is indicated in the centre by hand (A).
The minutes hand (B) indicates the minutes for both time zones.

Setting the reference time
Pull the crown out to position 2. All the hands (local time A and B) as well as the reference time zone hand
(G) and day/night indication are connected. You can turn the crown in either direction.
The reference time hour (G) must be set first, taking care to be in the correct day/night indication (with day
beginning at 6 a.m. and night beginning at 6 p.m.), and then the minutes hand (B).
Push the crown back to position 1.
Setting the 2
nd
time zone or local time (central hand A)
Press push-piece (P2): the local hours hand (A) jumps forward one hour.
Chronograph function
a) Starting the chronograph
Press the monopusher (P1) a first time to set the chronograph direct-drive seconds hand (D) and the minutes-
counter hand (F) in motion. If the flyback function is activated, the flyback hand (E) is superimposed over
the direct-drive seconds hand (D). They begin the timekeeping sequence together. If the flyback function is
disabled, the flyback hand (E) remains in its final position and only the direct-drive seconds hand (D) begins
the timekeeping sequence. For optimal use of the complication, it is advised to activate the flyback function
when the direct-drive seconds hand (D) and flyback hand (E) are superimposed.
b) Activating or disabling the flyback function
The flyback system comprises an additional chronograph direct-drive seconds hand, which enables
intermediate times to be measured. Thanks to the action of the flyback push-piece (P3), the flyback hand
stops or "flies back" and follows the chronograph direct-drive seconds hand.
While your chronograph is running, press the flyback push-piece (P3) once. This action disables the flyback
function and stops the flyback hand (E), allowing the precise reading of the time elapsed in the first timed
interval. Press the flyback push-piece (P3) again and the flyback hand (E) is instantly superimposed over the
direct-drive seconds hand (D), allowing the overall event to continue being timed.
c) Stopping the chronograph
Press push-piece (P1) again to stop the chronograph hands. Now, you can read the elapsed time(s) E and D.
d) Resetting the chronograph to zero
After you have completed the measurement, press the push-piece (P1) a third time to reset the chronograph
direct-drive seconds hand (D), the flyback hand (E) and the minutes-counter hand (F) to zero. It is advisable
to reactivate the flyback function so that both hands (D and E) are at zero. The flyback chronograph is thus
ready to measure time once more.
