Connecting the coolant
2 Slide liner through retaining nipple (4), guide tube (1), guide (5) and cold-
wire tube (6) as far as it will go in the feeding nozzle (7).
3 Screw down retaining nipple (4) with the nut (3) of the wire conduit. This
completes the fastening of the liner.
NOTE
• Make sure that the coolant supply and return have been installed
properly. Coolant supply = blue, coolant return = red.
• Do not use any deionized or demineralized water as coolant or for
tightness or flow tests.
This may impair the service life of your welding torch.
• For liquid-cooled welding torches, we recommend using the
ABICOR BINZEL coolant BTC-15.

Ventilate the entire cooling system as follows when used for the first time and
after every cable assembly change:
1 Disconnect the coolant return hose (1) from the re-circulating cooling
unit (2) and hold it over a collecting device.
2 Close the opening at the coolant return hose (1) and open it again by
repeatedly and abruptly releasing it, until the coolant is flowing
continuously and without air bubbles into the collecting device.
3 Switch off the re-circulating cooling unit (2) and reconnect the coolant
return hose (1) .
