Heat regulation menu

The settings that determine the heating capacity supply based on load may be
edited in the Temperature control menu.
Unit OFF time when the season change is requested

2
Only EXP: Indicates the meaning associated with the SCR (Remote
Control Selector) input
PRIMARY: The SCR control enables/disables the primary circuit only
UNIT: The SCR control enables/disables the entire unit
Selection of the regulation probe
Regulation type of the main heat exchanger (based on the return
1
temperature from the system or delivery to the system)
2
Only EXP: Regulation type of the recovery heat exchanger (return or
delivery).

III.1.3.1
Regulation on return temperature
If use of regulation on primary return has been set in window Jc02, windows
Jc10..Jc12 are displayed:
With the parameters set in the example screen, a 100% request will be generated
when the return temperature exceeds the set-point by 4.0°C, while it is equal to
0% when the set-point is reached.
With the parameters set in the example screens, a 100% request will be
generated when the return temperature drops 4.0°C below the set-point, while it is
equal to 0% when the set-point is reached.

Summer regulation band
Band deviation with respect to the set-point
Winter regulation band
Band deviation with respect to the set-point
Type of adjustment (proportional only,
proportional+integrative, PID)
Summer drift and integral time
Winter drift and integral time
Take into account that, due to the system's latency, the derivative and integral
functions are not generally used.
III.1.3.2
Regulation on delivery temperature
If use of regulation on primary delivery has been set in window Jc02, windows
Jc13..Jc15 are displayed.
Delivery regulation is based on the length of time the temperature remains away
from the set-point to generate the required power percentage. The further away
from the set-point the faster the increase or decrease action of the request.
Example of delivery regulation (cooling mode)
Three action zones are defined:
Within the Neutral Zone the request is not modified
Within the Increase Zone the power request undergoes progressive
increases, the rapidity of which is given by the distance from the set-
point
Within the Decrease Zone the power request undergoes progressive
decreases, the rapidity of which is given by the distance from the set-
point
The width of the neutral zone is set. In addition, dynamic changes may be made
based on load and system conditions.
Neutral zone width value currently used
1
Neutral zone width setting
2
Enable automatic neutral zone width change based on system load
3
assessment
Enable automatic neutral zone width change based on unit input/output ΔT
4
ΔT percentage reading to be used as minimum neutral zone width
5
Standby time for fully operational conditions after compressors switch on
6
The increase speed to be used is determined based on the position of the
temperature and minimum and maximum time settings. In order to determine the
increase speed to be used, the times required to increase the power request from
0% to 100% are set when the temperature is on the edge of the neutral zone
(maximum time) and when the temperature is beyond the increase zone
(minimum time).
Offset with respect to the beginning of the increase band that causes a
1
compressor to switch on.
Increase Zone Width
2
Time required to increase the power request from 0% to 100% when the
3
temperature is beyond the increase zone
Time required to increase the power request from 0% to 100% when the
4
temperature is on the edge of the neutral zone
Pause period of the increase when a temperature change is read towards
5

6
