to heat the oil in the compressor casing and you will have to wait for the time
displayed. before the unit can be started.
The waiting time is calculated on a straight line defined by 2 points, depending on
the outdoor air temperature. For temperature values lower than point 1 the time is
the one defined for point 1. For outdoor air temperature values higher than point 2
the time is that defined for point 2.
Enabling mandatory oil heating
1
Period at unit powered off after which it is required to wait for oil heating
2
Outdoor temperature and duration of mandatory heating defined for point 1
3
Outdoor temperature and duration of mandatory heating defined for point 2
4
By way of example, with the parameters set in the example screen, if the unit
remains off for 180 minutes, when the board is powered, based on the outside air
temperature, it is necessary to wait:
12 hours, if the outdoor air temperature is lower than -10 ° C;
1 hour, if the outdoor air temperature is higher than + 10 ° C;
A value calculated on the straight line given by these points, if the
outdoor air temperature is between -10 ° C and + 10 ° C.
When the function is active, the following warning appears indicating how much
time is needed for the unit to be started.
III.1.9.18
Inverter alarm
On screen Ji34 it is possible to set the maximum number of automatic restarts that
each inverter compressor can perform in 60 minutes.
III.1.9.19
Alarm relay management
In form Ji36 it is possible to choose the type of alarms for which the general alarm
relay is activated. Based on the following settings, you can select whether the
alarm relay should be activated for:
ANY ALARM - any alarm
MINOR ALARMS - alarms that reduce the functionality of the machine
BLOCKING ALARMS - alarms that block parts of the machine
MANUAL ALARMS - blocking alarms that require manual reset
This choice also applies to the general alarm variable displayed during
supervision.
III.1.9.20
Low overheating in delivery alarm
On units with heat exchanger with flooded type shell and tube, if there is a
discharge temperature probe, it is possible to set a low overheating alarm that has
the effect of switching off the compressor.
USM_CONTROL EQS_2335a21275_208549_210701_ES-EN-FR-DE-IT
In mask Ji37 it is possible to set: the superheat threshold that activates the alarm,
the deactivation differential, the delay relating to the persistence of overheating
beyond the set threshold that generates the alarm and the time for which the
effect remains active once that the alarm is generated.

On screen Ji38 it is possible to set the number of hourly resets of the pump
alarms, if the unit is equipped with an inverter pump connected by a serial bus and
managed by the machine software.

III.1.10 Menu EEV - electronic thermostatic valve

For all units fitted with electronic thermostatic valve, in the EEV menu it is possible
to edit the parameters that regulate the work of the thermal expansion valve and
its alarms.
Upon circuit start-up, before the compressors switch on, the electronic
thermostatic valve opens at a percentage proportional to the power percentage to
be switched on and to the EEV Ratio parameter described in window Jj31.
Opening thus reached is maintained even for a period following switch-on
(repositioning time), after which the valve regulates with a PID algorithm to
maintain the entered overheating set-point on the circuit. The valve is positioned
at fixed percentage openings also following switch-on/off of other compressors.
The screens described in this paragraph allow you to set the parameters
differently for the operating mode (cooling and heating, if the electronic
thermostatic valve is managed in this operating mode) and for each circuit, if there
are multiple circuits and if between circuit and the other there are differences in
parameterization.
During operation the EVD driver is in charge of preventing overheating from going
too low, or pressure from going off the set limits. In the event of exceeding one of
these thresholds, a different integral time is first used in the regulation PID to
make it more reactive and after a time limit, the alarm is triggered.
Note that, based on correspondence between pressure and temperature of a gas,
the LOP and MOP thresholds are set in degrees °C instead of in bar.
On screen Jj21..Jj24 it is possible to set the low overheating (LowSH) and high
operating pressure (MOP) thresholds.
