In window Jf19 it is possible to select the type of condensation control. One may
choose between:
PRESSURE: the valve/pump is modulated based on the condensing
pressure (and evaporation in PdC mode if enabled);
OUTLET T.: the valve/pump is modulated based on the well return
temperature. (not available for EXP versions and versions with
RC100)
On screens Jf20 and Jf21 it is possible to enter the pressure (or temperature) set-
point to be maintained during operation in cooling and heating mode. There are
also similar set-points to be used during operation of the desuperheater.
In addition, in screen Jf21 one may choose whether, during operation in heating
mode, the valve/pump needs to modulate according to the entered set-point
(evaporation control) or remain at the maximum opening/speed.
Warning: Evaporation control is not compatible with the HPH-CC set-up.
III.1.6.5
Freecooling versions
In freecooling units with outdoor temperature sufficiently low it is possible to cool
water by running it through an air-water heat exchanger before cooling with the
cooling circuit, also turning off the compressors if possible. This operating mode is
called freecooling mode and is activated based on the difference between the
outdoor temperature and the temperature on unit inlet:

temperature to start freecooling mode

2
temperature to stop freecooling mode
Delay in freecooling mode activation (time required for the 3-way valve to
3
switch-over).
In the Only Freecooling mode the compressors are kept off and cooling is
performed only with the fans:

3

In operation with active freecooling and compressors on, to prevent the
condensing pressure from dropping too much, the coils are disconnected and
used only partially. On screen Jf32 it is possible to set the coil disconnection on or
off delay, based on the condensation pressure control valve operating conditions.

On screen Jf33 it is possible to set the parameters to cancel the power request if
the produced temperature is too low.
