Similar parameters are set for the decrease zone.
Decrease Zone Width
1
Time required to decrease the power request from 100% to 0% are set
2
when the temperature is beyond the increase zone
Time required to decrease the power request from 100% to 0% when the
3
temperature is on the edge of the neutral zone
Recovery regulation (only EXP or HP+RC100 versions)
If use of regulation on recovery return has been set in window Jc02, windows
Jc21..Jc22 are displayed:
The functions and meaning are similar to those described for regulation on
primary return.
If use of regulation on recovery delivery has been set in window Jc02, windows
Jc23..Jc25 are displayed:
The functions and meaning are similar to those described for regulation on
primary delivery.
Multi-purpose unit may be set in screen Jc30 to continue production on the
primary/recovery branches over the set point, when energetically advantageous.
By activating the subcooling function, the unit continues producing cold over the
set point when only recovery is requested. By activating the superheating function,
the unit continues producing heat over the set point when only cooling is
requested. In this manner energy is stored in the storage tanks instead of being
disposed of into the environment.
The window settings indicate the delivery thresholds of the recovery primary, upon
reaching which the function is disabled. The functions are enabled again upon
reaching the differential. In the example shown, the primary may reach 4.0°C even
if not requested, then switches off until the temperature goes back above 8.0°C.
III.1.3.3
Compressor timers
To prevent too sudden and electrically stressful switch-ons/offs, it is possible to
set a minimum time interval:

In windows Jc32..Jc34 it is possible to set the safety thresholds beyond which to
stop operation of recovery components (only EXP and unit with RC100), of the
desuperheater (only unit with DS) and of primary (models PdC and EXP only):
On screen Jj36 and following, if there is a second circuit, it is possible to set the
parameters relative to the use of the economiser for screw and Turbocor
compressors. In machines with screw compressors the economiser is enabled to
start when the compressor has already reached full power, whereas in machines
with Turbocor compressors activation is connected to reaching a ratio between
the current rotation speed and the maximum one.

Minimum period between switching off two different compressors
Minimum period that elapses between the request of a partialisation step

III.1.3.4
Maximum output temperatures
Limit recovery outlet temperature threshold beyond which heat recovery is
1
blocked
Differential below which the recovery inlet temperature must drop to enable
2
recovery again
Time period at unit start-up during which, if only recovery request in
3
automatic mode, the unit waits for any request for cooling to the heat
exchanger to prevent subsequent cycle change leading to machine
downtime
Desuperheater inlet temperature limit threshold over which the
1
desuperheater pump is stopped
Differential below which the temperature must drop to enable
2
desuperheater again
Defines the condensation control parameters when the desuperheater is
3
active:
- STANDARD: uses the specific condensation control parameters for
operation with the desuperheater;
- ECONOMY: uses the standard condensation control parameters defined
for the unit
Primary outlet temperature limit threshold over which production is stopped
1
(only with regulation on return)
Differential below which the temperature must drop to enable temperature
2
control again
III.1.3.5
