To achieve a long service life, it is always
particularly important to maintain a
sufficient level of oil and to change the
engine oil and air filter regularly.

15.24 Gearbox

For the user, the gearbox is maintenance-
free.
During the inspections of the machine by
the specialist dealer, the required
maintenance operations are performed on
the gearbox.

15.25 Storage

● Store the machine in a dry and dust-
free room out of reach of children and
unauthorised persons.
● Any machine faults must be remedied
prior to storage in order to maintain a
safe operating condition.
● Close the fuel cock. (

● Remove the ignition key and keep in a
place where no unauthorised persons,
especially children, can access it.
15.26 Extended periods of inoperation
(e.g. winter break)
● Clean the entire machine fully. In
particular, also carefully clean all
external parts of the engine and
gearbox (especially the cooling ribs).
● Thoroughly lubricate/grease all moving
parts.
● Remove the fuel from the fuel tank and
carburettor (e.g. by running empty).
● Engage the parking brake. (

● Observe the information on
immobilisation in the engine instruction
manual.
● Perform an engine oil change (engine
instruction manual). (
● Remove the battery. (
● Store the fully charged battery safely in
a cool and dry room out of reach of
children.
15.27 Following storage for extended
periods (e.g. over winter)
● Check the battery voltage before
installing the battery. If the battery
voltage is lower than 11.5 V, fully
recharge the battery using a battery
charger before installation. (
● Install the battery. (
● Check the tyre pressures. (
● Open the fuel cock. (
● Fill the fuel tank. (
● Check the engine oil filling level.

Drive slowly and with particular
caution on loading ramps, ensuring
that the wheels do not drive over
the edges of the loading ramps –
danger of falling!
Do not change speed or direction
abruptly.
On public roads, the machine may
only be transported by means of a
suitable vehicle or trailer. Do not
