Maintenance
• If the cutting quality is no longer perfect, the cutting blade (3) may be blunt, soiled or damaged.
Use hand protection. Clean the cutting blade (3) carefully and replace if necessary.
• Check cutter bar (5) for soiling and damage. If necessary, clean or replace.
Replace the cutting blade
• Remove ball lock pins for housing cover (8) by twisting and pulling them.
• Tilt the housing cover (7) up.
• Remove ball lock pins for cutting blade (9) by twisting and pulling them.
Use hand protection. Loosen and remove cutting blade (3) using the socket screw (10).
Insert new cutting blade (3) and fasten with a socket screw (10).
• Insert ball lock pins for cutting blade (9) as tightly as possible.
• Tilt the housing cover (7) down.
• Insert ball lock pins for housing cover (8) as tightly as possible.
Replace the cutter bar
• Loosen and remove screws on the cutter bar (5).
• Remove cutter bar (5) and insert new cutter bar.
• Fasten cutter bar (5) with screws.
Service and Repairs
• Repairs should only be carried out by authorised Leister Service Centres. They guarantee a correct and reliable
repair service within reasonable period, using original spare parts in accordance with the circuit diagrams
and spare parts lists
Warranty
• For this tool, we generally provide a warranty of one (1) year from the date of purchase (verified by invoice
or delivery document). Damage that has occurred will be corrected by replacement or repair.
• Additional claims shall be excluded, subject to statutory regulations.
• Damage caused by normal wear, overloading or improper handling is excluded from the guarantee.
• Warranty claims will be rejected for tools that have been altered or changed by the purchaser.
