OPERATION
Bypass Mode
In the event of a UPS overload or internal failure, the UPS transfers your
equipment to utility power. Battery mode is not available; however, the
utility power continues to be passively filtered by the UPS. The alarm
sounds and the
Bypass mode when:

Standby Mode
When the UPS is turned off and remains plugged into a power outlet,
the UPS is in Standby mode. The
indicators are off, indicating that power is not available to your
equipment. The battery recharges when necessary.
Configuration Mode
When the UPS is in Configuration mode, the front panel indicators
represent the configuration options. Use the control buttons
(On button, Off
configuration. Figure 24 shows the indicators and Table 9 explains the
corresponding options.
